Today, i went to observe on the elderly around my neighbourhood and these are the few observations i made- most of them were carrying plastic bags or doing an errand. This shows that most of the elderly only go out to accomplish a task.
- In the parks around my house, the elderly were not often seen, this also shows that the elderly do not or seldom go out to take a walk around the neighbourhood.
- When we do see the elderly, they are usually walking alone and not with friends.Suggestions?
-Perhaps there could be more events to make them more closer to each other, so that they can interact with each other and also go outdoors once in a while with their friends.
